Tales of the knight chapter 4

The warm air flooded Hisoka's room as he awoke to chatter outside his window. He jerked out of bed and slid into his clothing. The light streaming into his room as he opened the curtains. For a brief moment something didn't seem right, he felt the panic inside of him rise to an almost dangerous level. He ran through the castles main hall frantically, pushing down any of the knights that were in his way. He knocked on the door, "Rita?" He called, "Rita are you in there?" Still no response. He turned the handle slowly, silently praying to himself that she would be okay. He walked into the room that was normally filled with sun-light to find it in complete darkness. "Rita..RITA!?" He shouted, but there was no response. He opened the curtains to see if he could see if the light would allow him to better see her whereabouts. His eyes moved away from the window and towards the beautiful red throne, "Hello..Hisoka." Rita whimpered almost silently. "R-Rita.." He mouthed. "We have a problem, and I need your help." Her eyes began to water as she pointed to the door that lead to her personal basement. "I'll take care of it." Hisoka muttered. He didn't know what to expect at this point, maybe a dead body, maybe a stray kitten. The thought struck him W-What happened to my life? Where did it go? He sighed as he arrived in the basement. He heard a voice "So you're here? You're that servant boy Rita talks about.." Hisoka stared into the darkness to see a pair of pale green eyes staring back at him. He lit up the room with his magic. He saw that the pale green eyes belonged to a young girl with pale blond hair. She looked so innocent, but beside her was a sight Hisoka never wanted to see; the dead body of Rita's grandfather, his teacher. "How could she...Damn it...I thought she had enough human in her not to do this! But she did! Her only grandfather and-and the only one who could help me develop my magic! Damn it!" He shouted in distress. "Sir, I hate to sound rude, but you seem rather selfish." The young girl's voice struck Hisoka like knives. "You...You're calling ME selfish? Rita has killed EVERYONE that could have ever taught me magic!" The girl looked apathetic, "I-I'm so sorry." Hisoka shook his head, "No..You're right. I'm an idiot for thinking that I could actually have a teacher thats alive, and maybe possibly be like my damn father...but no I'll never be able to show him my talents, there's no way I can save him like this." He cried. He stood up and began to punch the wall. "Why can't April get here already? First of all her daughters a freaking serial killer and I'm left without a tutor. Why can't things ever go right around here?" He heard a loud crashing noise and jerked his head around. "What is it now.." He mumbled, but he noticed the frail girl was lying on the ground passed out. She was mumbling something as he kneeled over her. "Hey..Hey are you OK?" He asked shaking her. The child's eyes opened as fast as they had closed,
"Tell Rita mommy's home."
